I am an interdisciplinary artist who works through grief with rituals of experimental death documentation.

My work is grounded in a deep responsibility to care. I explore what tending to the body after death can look like, and how grief can be a catalyst for healing. Death is natural for all living beings.

However, existing in a society that allows no time for mourning, has led me to explore alternative ways of remembering those I've lost. I’ve found a responsibility to care for the bodies of wildlife I encounter on the road.

With each little body I return to the earth, I remind myself I cannot heal the harm done. There is nothing I can do to bring back what is lost. All I offer is the acknowledgment of a life that once was. With each burial, I get a chance to say goodbye.
